Best Use of Social Media

The Toast Rack has grown from strength to strength, being a corporate club at a modern IT company; Rackspace UK, we have taken the social media channels by storm, generating positive awareness and helpful brand attraction.

Boasting connections and networking with the official twitter handles of TM, personal mentions from the international president, opportunities from the official Toastmaster podcast channel as well as various clubs around the globe. Our good friend Dananjaya also contacts back regularly, the World Champ 2014.

Seeking such opportunities to keep this global community up to date and online are extremely beneficial to keep new-age and old-age alike members engaged and able to collaborate over the internet.

The Toast Rack members are encouraged to write up summaries after each club event to improve their written communication and also upholster the clubs’ online presence.

Designing of the club logo, banner, website and upkeep is all done in house and helps us define our own success. The internet is the fastest growing technology this century, so utilising it as a tool to further empower our members is an certopportunity not to be missed by any club.

 

We won Best Use of Social Media – Highly Commended 2015-2016 at the District awards on Saturday 9th April 2016 at The Freemason’s Hall in Covent Garden.
